Scoliosis Rehab, Inc (“SRI”) is a unique physical therapy clinic dedicated to the care of patients with scoliosis, kyphosis, and other spine-related disorders. Therapeutic and recreational Pilates are also taught.
Exercises in the treatment of scoliosis is a relatively new concept in the US, but has been practiced in Europe since the 1920’s. SRI is modeled after a physical therapy clinic in Barcelona, Spain. Beth Janssen, PT (a founder of SRI) and Patti Orthwein, PT are European-trained and certified Schroth therapists. Ms. Janssen and Orthwein have extensive training in treating TMJ dysfunction, head and neck pain and pediatric patients.
In its first year, SRI treated patients from over 20 states, Canada, and the Philippines.
